CATU S.A and Thorne & Derrick Ltd in the UK have a successful trading relationship dating back to 2007.

During this time Thorne & Derrick staff have been trained in the specification of equipment and correct use and procedures when working in a high voltage, hazardous environment using specialist CATU products to ensure the safety of all electrical workers. We have worked together to supply electrical safety equipment into the oil & gas industry, electric & hybrid vehicles, power distribution & generation industries and contractors working in these industries. Now Thorne & Derrick have been appointed preferred partners of Sicame UK Ltd supplying CATU equipment into the UK market the partnership continues to thrive.

October 2015 : Sicame to attend major African show

Sicame UK will be joining colleagues from other Sicame Group companies at this years WAPIC conference and exhibition, at the EKO hotel and suites in Lagos, Nigeria from the 24th to the 25th November 2015.

WAPIC brings together senior decision makers from utilities, governments, large power users, IPPs, consultants, contractors and regulators to source the latest solutions and technologies to meet the needs of their organisations. The exhibition is now in its 12th year.

June 2015 : Modification to our minimum order value policy

After many years of not changing our policy on Minimum Order values, we should like to take this opportunity to advise all our customers of a small change as follows.

The good news is that for all orders where the value of the order equals or exceeds £300 (after discounts and all deductions but before the addition of VAT), no separate charge will be made for packing and delivery to a UK mainland location.

Where the total value of a purchase order is below £150 (after discounts and all deductions but before the addition of VAT) customers will be charged both a Low Value Order Charge of £35 plus a charge for packing and delivery to a UK mainland location of £12.50 (total £47.50).

If the purchase order value is between £150 and £299.99 (after discounts and all deductions but before the addition of VAT) Sicame Electrical Distribution will levy a charge for packing and delivery to a UK mainland location of £12.50 only.

This policy is effective on all orders received beginning July 2015.
