This range of compression connectors can be known as a "C" Sleeve, "C" Crimp or a Copper Run & Tap Connector, and is designed for a variety of applications; including the tapping off from overhead power distribution lines. The standard range is made of pure copper; however tinned and aluminium versions are available.
The SED ranges of Copper "C" Crimp Connectors are sold under the brand names of Mecatraction, SBI-Connectors and Burndy, and are normally available ex-stock in the UK.
