Our standard stock range of low voltage copper compression connectors are the CUM-range manufactured by Mecatraction, and the YSV-range manufactured by SBI-Connectors. These are Non-Insulated copper connectors to IEC 61238-1 covering a full range from 1.5mm² to 1000mm².

In addition to our standard stock items, we also offer a comprehensive range of connectors to suit specific industries and applications. Our own ERMA connectors were designed specifically for use by the Ministry of Defence, Nuclear Power Stations, the Aerospace Industry and for the Railways. Despite changes in the requirements of all of these industries through the years, SED remain committed to providing a complete solution.

These are tinned copper lugs to IEC 61238-1 covering a full range from 4mm² to 1000mm². We also offer a range of tinned copper compression lugs with 2-hole outdoor fixings and 4-hole drilled palms for transformers, and with 45° and 90° angled palms. Further copper compression lugs are available with narrow tongues (YAV-TNCB), bell entry barrels (DEF-TSV) and comprehensive range of Pre-Insulated Pin Terminals, Pre-Insulated Fork Terminals and Pre-Insulated Ring Terminals.

SED offer a comprehensive range of Aluminium compression lugs. As a UK Distribution Partner for Mecatraction and SBI-Connectors, we have a compression lug to suit both 3 and 4 core solid aluminium conductors.

The SBI-Connectors YA-range of aluminium compression lugs are also available in 2-hole outdoor and 4-hole transformer versions for larger conductors, and are filled with contact grease and capped at the end. There is also a long barrel version of the aluminium lug for conductors ranging from 50mm² to 300mm².

In addition to our standard range of aluminium compression lugs, we also have a version available for stranded aluminium cables.
