3M offer a complete range of Low Voltage Resin Joints to suit all types of cable; XLPE, PVC, PILC, EPR, SWA/AWA and a full range of Hydrocarbon Resistant Joints for Hazardous Area applications. These cable joints are ideally suited to all combinations of copper/aluminium and stranded/solid conductors; and although predominately for use between 600 & 1000 volts, the Premium Range can be upgraded for some 3.3/6.6kv applications.

3M recently introduced the new one-part joint shell, including a fully integrated resin mixing and pouring system. This greatly reduces skin contact and inhalation of vapours. All 3M low-voltage kits include Self-amalgamating tape, Constant Force Springs & Two-Part Resin as standard.

Sicame Hazardous Area Cable Joints are designed for use with Armoured, Unarmoured and lead-sheathed XLPE/PVC cables where there is likely to be a presence of Hydrocarbons or where there is a danger from Gas, Sewage or Chemical spillage within Zones 1 and 2.
